About Us

The Newington Rotary Club brings together local business, professional, and community leaders committed to “Service Above Self” and making a meaningful difference in Newington and beyond. Our mission is to strengthen our community through hands-on service, charitable giving, youth programs, scholarships, and support for local families and organizations in need. A cornerstone of our service is our long-standing support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and its fight against pediatric cancer, raising more than $325,000 to help fund childhood cancer research and support affected families. We also address food insecurity, support local students and schools, assist veterans and first responders, and invest in projects that improve our community. Through Rotary International, we extend that commitment globally by supporting humanitarian initiatives such as polio eradication and clean water projects. At its heart, Newington Rotary is about neighbors helping neighbors and people coming together to create lasting positive change.
